Manager For Japanese Software Market
3 July 2003. Conceiva (http://www.conceiva.com),
a leading developer of software and services for creative
professionals, has completed development of DownloadSpider,
an innovative new internet download manager, to be
sold in the Japanese retail software market by one
of Japan's leading software publishers, Jungle K.
K.
Working closely in conjunction with its Japanese
partner, IXLA Japan (http://www.ixla.co.jp),
Conceiva developed the product for Japanese internet
users. Features include file, file range, web site,
FTP site, streaming audio and video support, full
database functionality, built-in file viewer and visual

Lightbox 3.0 Delivers Productivity Boost
For Creative Professionals

professionals, has launched the new version of Lightbox.
Lightbox 3.0 has gained many powerful new features
and file support to further empower graphic designers,
web designers and digital photographers.

New features of Lightbox 3.0 include:
- Raw digital camera file support has been added
to enable digital photographers to quickly view
their "digital negative" RAW images files.
Over 50 digital cameras are supported from vendors
such as Kodak, Canon, Fujifilm, Nikon, Olympus,
Minolta, and Sigma. Embedded thumbnails are extracted
from raw image files for fast display. Full-sized
images are displayed in the Lightbox Instant Viewer.
EXIF, IPTC and Maker Notes meta data is extracted
and displayed.
- EXIF, IPTC and Maker Notes meta data has been
enhanced to extract and display more meta data items
from digital camera EXIF and RAW files.
- Adobe PDF file support has been added to enable
users of PDF files to view thumbnails of their files
quickly. PDF meta data such as author, title and
more is extracted and displayed.
- Adobe Illustrator (AI) file support has been
added to enable users of Adobe Illustrator and Macromedia
Freehand to quickly view thumbnails of their Illustrator
files quickly. The Instant Viewer also displays
AI files for full-sized viewing. Embedded meta data
stored within AI files such as version, author,
title and more is extracted and displayed.
- Adobe Encapsulated Postscript (EPS) file support
has been added to enable users of EPS files to view
thumbnails of their files quickly. The Instant Viewer
displays EPS files for full-sized viewing. EPS meta
data such as version, author, title and more is
extracted and displayed.
- Macromedia Flash support has been enhanced to
support version 4, version 5 and version 6 Flash
files.
- Multi-page TIFF files can be viewed in Instant
Viewer enabling users to view all pages within a
TIFF file.
- Dual monitor support has been added enabling
users to have Lightbox attached to applications
in a Windows dual monitor environment.
- The order of favorites on the Lightbox toolbar
can now be set enabling users to list their favorites
on the toolbar in their preferred order.
- Network file name (UNC) conventions have been
added enabling users to move to folders and networked
computers using UNC file name conventions (e.g.
\\Computer\folder).
- Start up time of Lightbox is much faster when
attaching Lightbox to applications.

From Nautlilus

NetRanger software business from Nautilus, an Australian
software company.
The NetRanger software product is an advanced internet

code, worldwide marketing rights and the existing
user base of NetRanger users.
